Log into Godaddy and go to domains. Edit the DNS for the domain you wish to point to lightsail. Create A records for the domain with and without the www e.g. www.example.com and example.com. Enter the public IP and TTL set to 1 hour.
Save and wait to propigate, perhaps up to 24hours.
